Dr.Frederick D. Lewis has received training from Harvard Law School (Negotiation Program), Southern Methodist University's (Graduate Dispute Resolution Program) Basic & Advanced Graduate Courses (Including Corporate ADR Program Design), The National Judicial College of the American Bar Association at the University of Nevada (Reno), and the Federal Mediation Conciliation Service.

Based in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Lewis has served as respected peacemaker since 1968 when he and a few good Marines went out in the streets (in the middle of urban riots) to calm down the community. Dr.Frederick D. Lewis possesses a unique ability to bring people in conflict together in order to resolve their disagreements.
National Association of Counties, County Courthouse Award
As the recipient of the National Association of Counties, County Courthouse Award in 2006 Dr. Lewis was honored for his mediation skills and his settlement of complex litigation. Dr. Lewis is one of the few mediators in the United States who has been trained by the National Judicial College in Settlement Techniques and was designated as a Summary Jury Trial Judge in December of 1999
He has trained others in the settlement of Civil Litigation and Disputes throughout the United States.
Dr. Lewis utilizes dynamic and cost-effective methods in Civil & Criminal Law Cases to meet your conflict resolution needs, including but not limited to Arbitration, Mediation and Summary Jury Trials but also is trained to develop Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs for Corporations and training courses with the main goal of settling lawsuits and disputes. He has trained Corporate Executives, Federal and State Employees, Judges, Attorneys, Paralegals, Teachers and Union Representatives in the settlement of Civil Litigation and Disputes throughout the United States.
Former Adjunct Professor Dispute Resolution Program
Dr. Lewis is a former Adjunct Professor in Southern Methodist University's Graduate Dispute Resolution Program as well as at Sangamon State University (now University of Illinois at Springfield) in constitutional law.
Court Commissioner -Guardian Ad Litem
Dr. Lewis has served the Dallas County Court System as a Court Commissioner for the 191st District Court and as a Guardian Ad Litem for the 44th District Court. He has settled over 9,000 civil cases including complex federal employment matters, complex business litigation, complex church cases, divorce, child sexual abuse, probate and wrongful death.
Chief Staffer responsible for House Committees on Business Regulations, Judiciary Committee II, and Veterans Affairs
As a young man he was a Legislative Staff Analyst for William Redman, Speaker of the House of the Illinois General Assembly. Dr. Lewis served as the Chief Staffer responsible for House Committees on Business Regulations, Judiciary Committee II, and Veterans Affairs and reconciling conflicts in legislation.
Legal Assistant in the Anti-Trust Section of the Legal Department of Caterpillar Tractor Company.
Dr. Lewis worked as a United Auto Workers Union assembly line production worker and then in management positions, through college and law school as a Legal Assistant in the Antitrust Section of the Legal Department of Caterpillar Tractor Company.
